Rust On Snow - Properties
| Effect | Rough rusty finish. Looks like real rust |
| How To Use | Spray a rough layer of Frost/Snow onto a surface then apply one or two coats of Rust spray at quite close range. If you would like it darker then apply a third coat. Always allow each coat of Rust spray to dry first before applying further coats. Add some Black and Ash Blonde in places if you wish to make darker and lighter patches like real rust. Please see our example sheets on the specials download page |
| Best Uses | Props. Looks great on metal surfaces. |
| Extra Info. | This is a great effect, the rust spray look great when sprayed over a rough white surface. The only problem with spraying over the snow spray is that the snow will come off very easily, so the effect is not permanent. Also, the rust spray is a water soluble Ageing Spray. If you would like a more durable rough rusty effect then spray over a tough glue/sawdust or flour mixture, then use a craft fixer matt spray to make it all watertight. Looks great and does not wash off. |
