Rust - Properties

See the How To Use page for examples of Ageing. Please also refer to the translucency table which shows the density of dye in each spray. This image is indicative of the true colour. The shade and depth of colour varies depending on the item being sprayed and the amount of spray used.

Colour	Rich rusty red/brown colour with strong yellow tones.
Density of Colour	Medium - higher density.
Translucency	Medium - less translucent.
Water Solubility	Medium to good solubility in water.
Best Uses	Costumes and props. The rusty red colour is great as an ageing spray. Its rusty red shade works in the same way as Dark Brown, but looks like a reddish dirt.
Ease Of Use	Easy to use due to the medium quantity of dye in the spray.
Extra Info.	This spray is very effective as a rust spray. It can be used in two ways, either on its own by spraying puddles of the dye on a flat surface, letting each coat dry before applying another, or by spraying over a rough surface - which looks really effective.
